We cannot be held responsible in case of unavailability during your stay. For any information concerning the services offered by the resort, we invite you to contact the Avoriaz Tourist Office.
It is up to our customers to inquire about the availability of a service, an activity, an equipment or a service proposed by the establishment and which would have determined their choice.
We will not be held responsible for any work undertaken by local authorities or private individuals which would generate nuisances / inconveniences.
These GTCB apply to the services provided by the selected provider within the framework of a hosting contract concluded with the customer, the contract and the GTCB forming an inseparable whole. In the event of a contradiction between the provisions of the GTCB and the contract, the provisions of the contract shall apply exclusively. The customer is the signatory company of the hosting contract. The beneficiary is the natural person who benefits from the services reserved within the framework of the hosting contract.

Deposit: 50% of the amount of the stay is to be paid at the time of booking.
Cancellation: free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellation on the day of arrival or no-show: the total amount of the booked stay will be charged.

Special conditions during the Christmas and New Year period (during school holidays)
Deposit: Beyond the 50% requested at the time of confirmation, the balance of the stay is to be paid 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation : The total amount of the stay is kept in case of cancellation less than 30 days before arrival.
Please note that reservations of 5 rooms or more are subject to different conditions.
Deposit: 100% of the amount of the stay is to be paid at the time of booking.
Cancellation: The total amount of the prepayment will be kept for any cancellation.
Modification of stay: In case of modification of the arrival date and/or departure date, the amount of the initial stay will be charged in full, as compensation, without any other form.

Room and breakfast: A supplement per person per night applies depending on the age of the occupant (details will be communicated to you when you make your reservation).
Half board room: A supplement per person and per night applies according to the age of the occupant (details will be communicated to you when you make your reservation).
Baby reception: A supplement per baby and per night will be applied (details will be communicated to you when you make your reservation).
Animal: A supplement per animal and per night will be applied (details will be communicated to you when you make your reservation).
Visitor's tax : Tariff in force fixed by the municipality per person over 18 years old.
VAT: Our rates include VAT. The rates applied are indicated according to the taxes currently in force, and are subject to change according to the taxes applicable at the time of your stay.
Arrival: The room is available from 5pm.
Departure: The room must be vacated by 10:00 am at the latest. A penalty of the amount of the night will be applied for any departure beyond this time.
Cancellation Insurance: For confirmed bookings, you have the possibility to subscribe to cancellation insurance (EU residents) by contacting our reservation service.
Non-smoking rooms: Please note that all rooms in our establishment are non-smoking. In case of non-compliance, the cost of restoring the room will be charged to the guest.
If no payment is made, you will be considered as having cancelled your stay and the following cancellation policy will be applied. All payments must be accompanied by the confirmation sent by the Hotel des Dromonts. Once payment has been made, no exchange of payment method can be made. A paid invoice for your stay will be given to you on the day of your departure.
For bookings made less than 1 month before departure, full payment of the stay is required at the time of booking.
Payment can be made either by cash up to 3 000 €, by cheque or by credit card.
Financial responsibility: the person who makes the reservation and who is invoiced, is the only person to contact and is responsible towards the hotel des Dromonts, especially in terms of financial responsibility and more particularly in the event of total or partial cancellation of the stay.
2.1 Number of registrants
Occupancy of the accommodation is strictly limited to the number of people indicated at the time of booking on the website or by telephone. Any excess can either be refused, or be subject to an additional charge at the place of stay. You will be asked the exact number of people to be registered, and their age, knowing that 1 baby or a young child counts as one person.
2.2 Special wishes
You can let us know your special wishes such as rooms, ground floor or floor, exhibition, special meals, when you register. We will notify your wishes to the service provider concerned, but under no circumstances is this a formal commitment on our part. The non satisfaction of these requests can in no way be a reason for cancellation or a pretext for any request for reimbursement or compensation.
Pets are only allowed (at an extra charge) if their presence has been specified and accepted at the time of registration. Animals falling under the 1st or 2nd category of law n°99-5 of 6 January 1999 are not accepted. An anti-rabies certificate is compulsory. Failing this, access may be prohibited, but the client's stay and the invoice will nevertheless remain the same. It will be required that the animal is kept on a leash within the premises of the establishment. Animals are however forbidden in the common areas of the establishment (restaurant, swimming pool...).
Article 3 : STAY CONDITIONS
In the event of non-arrival on the day of arrival initially planned or renunciation for any reason whatsoever, including strike, to services included in the service sold, can not claim any refund. Any interrupted stay, whatever the cause, will not give rise to any reimbursement.
3.1 Local problems :
The Hotel des Dromonts cannot be held responsible for any nuisances specific to the resort (works, water or electricity cuts, strikes...) which would disrupt the stay of guests.
3.2 Off season stay :
The annex activities of certain resorts (shops, discotheques, cinema, swimming pool...) as well as certain installations or animations of the resort are missing outside the high season. Their absence or non-functioning cannot give rise to any reimbursement.
3.3 Arrival and departure :
Arrivals and departures must imperatively take place at the previously specified times. In the event of arrival after 19:00, you must contact the hotel reception; compliance with this requirement will not give rise to any compensation or refund in the event that you are unable to arrive on the scheduled day.
Any departure later than the scheduled time will result in the billing of an extra day.
If, due to a major hindrance, you cannot arrive on time, it is essential to notify the local person in charge of the place of reception and to settle with him the conditions of your arrival. Guests must also respect the hotel's internal regulations. If a guest's behaviour or behaviour is likely to jeopardise the smooth running of a stay, the hotel may refuse the guest's accommodation or even shorten their stay without this giving rise to a refund.
3.4 Personal belongings :
The customer is responsible for all personal effects (car, luggage, cameras, skis, jewellery, money...). It is up to him or her to make the necessary arrangements concerning them. The hotel des Dromonts declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss, damage, accident or any other damage.
3.5 Rules of procedure :
Internal rules are posted in the hotel. We thank you for reading them and respecting them.
Article 4 : THE PRICES
The rates offered are inclusive of VAT and net of any commission. They include the provision of accommodation, charges included (electricity, water, heating...) and according to the customer's choice, breakfast, half board except for tourist taxes; (you will have to pay a tourist tax, the scale of which is fixed by municipal decree, to the benefit of the commune. The Hotel des Dromonts cannot be held responsible for any creation or modification of these taxes. Rates are applicable, subject to availability at the hotel, exclusively for the type of accommodation designated to the exclusion of any other category. The Hôtel des Dromonts reserves the right to modify the proposed rates in the event of legislative and/or regulatory changes likely to lead to a variation in their prices (change in the VAT rate in force, introduction of a new tax, etc.).
Article 5: CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION OF THE STAY
Notification of a change or cancellation of a stay must, in order to be admissible, be made to the reservation by one of the following means:

Any modification or cancellation of the stay, total or partial withdrawal (absence of one or more persons, change of dates of stay, change of place...), must be brought to our attention within 48 hours following the event motivating this cancellation. Only the date of the event and not the date of the cancellation will be taken into account by the insurance, the following conditions being then strictly applied by the hotel des Dromonts:

In the tourism code: "The right of withdrawal does not apply to the provision of accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services (Arrêt. Cass. 1081 of 25/11/2010)".
Article 6: MAJOR FORCE
The obligations contained herein shall only be applicable or shall be suspended if their execution has become impossible due to a case of force majeure such as, in particular: act of public authority, hostilities, war, act of the Prince, natural disaster, fire, flood, strike... Each party shall inform the other as soon as possible in the event of the occurrence of an event of force majeure preventing it from executing all or part of its contractual obligations. The parties shall make every effort to prevent or reduce the effects of a breach of contract caused by an event of force majeure; the party wishing to invoke an event of force majeure must immediately notify the other party of the beginning and end of this event, failing which it shall not be relieved of its responsibility.
6.1 Possible modification of our programs :
If circumstances oblige us to do so, and only in the event of events of force majeure, beyond our control, we may be obliged to partially or totally modify our programs (total or partial closure of a site, common equipment such as swimming pool, restaurant...).
6.2 Relocation :
In the event of exceptional events or one-off cases of force majeure, the establishment reserves the right to arrange for the beneficiaries to be accommodated, partially or totally, in local accommodation of an equivalent category, at no extra charge, with the costs inherent in the transfer remaining the responsibility of the hotel, which may not be liable for any compensation whatsoever.
Article 7: DISPUTES
To be taken into consideration, any complaint must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the Hotel des Dromonts within a maximum of 8 days after the client's departure. Failing an amicable agreement, the customer may refer the matter to the Association of European Mediators (AME) for which SARL DROM is affiliated.
